The Team Mission
To share the mobile lifestyle with readers like you. We hope that you will consider life on the move. We have found great joy in a life, tethered not from the weight of monthly house payments and the associated complacency that can ensue, but one that is fresh and exciting every day. We have become closer to our family and friends and ultimately ourselves as a result of traveling this path and we invite you to try it for yourself. Sharing with you some of our adventures is our way of encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and hit the road!
Donovan Watts
Donovan Watts is captain of The Go! Team, a cacophony of electronic gadgets, an automobile, and a human; all infused with a life of their own. Donovan is known on the internets as a mobile warrior. His two favorite words are 'road' and 'trip.'
Daisy
Daisy is our trusty motorized vehicle. She is a Volvo wagon. I named her after my grandmother.
Sprocket
Sprocket is our newest team member. He's a Pocket PC with a chip on his shoulder. He's an XV6700 Verizon Pocket PC to be exact. A compact Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC phone with a standard QVGA display, 416 MHz processor, 64 megs of RAM, 128 megs of flash ROM, EVDO, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
Tin Machine
Tin Machine is an off-spring of Steve Jobs and his cronies known as PowerBook G4. I'm an Apple man to the core! This laptop is my primary business tool.
dPod
dPod is a 3rd generation iPod. She's by far the best musician on the team. She syncs up with Tin Machine on a regular basis, keeping my contacts, calendar, and music within easy reach.
